Thirytninehotel is proud to open its 2008 year of exhibitions with a ground-breaking show by the two-person Los Jaichackers. Los Jaichackers is a collaborative effort between San Francisco-based Julio César Morales and Los Angeles-based Eamon Ore-Giron.Los Jaichakers have been collaborating since 2002, specifically on audio/video projects, which include music and video artwork based on the musical compositions of the originator of Mambo, Perez Prado. Their work integrates performance, video, signage and musical production based on the improvised strategies of the world's club and bedroom DJ's, record collectors, street vendors and musicians, and informal economists.
