A housewife’s lethal weapon! Homemade SPAM Musubi
January 3, 2008
Spam Musubi (rice ball)is a Hawaiian delicacy. More than a few people would like to reproduce the great taste at home. However, it’s not as easy as it seems. Though it isn’t too hard to make a rectangle instead of the usual “bag” shape used for rice balls in Japan, the typically American gaudiness and bold taste that makes SPAM Musubi so satisfying is difficult to perfect. It’s also difficult to create the right size every time in pursuit of ‘authenticity’.
