Fresh-made pasta
When talking about Italian food, pizza and pasta are usually the first things that come to mind. How about Risoto, Osso Bucco, Trippa, etc.?
Still, the number of well-known Italian dishes is not as large as, say, Chinese food. Indeed, Chinese food is so international that it has practically spread throughout the entire world.
Italian food, like pizza and pasta, is actually often thought of as American food by non-Italians. It’s true that American chain restaurants and delivery services have taken up these dishes as their main menus!
Nevertheless, there are some of us who can tell the difference between authentic Italian food and Americanized pizza and pasta. It’s not juts the flavor but also the way the food is cooked! I recommend trying pasta made from fresh dough rather than the dried type for a truly fresh and hand-made flavor.
