Paris' Prison Misery
Has it already been that long? On June 3, Paris Hilton was ordered to serve jail time for violating her probation stemming from an earlier DUI charge. At first, the hotel heiress was ordered to serve 45 days behind bars, but she ended up getting out after only 22. Her sentence was dropped due to good behavior.
Hilton left the prison alone, smiling amidst the flashbulbs of paparazzi who anxiously waited for her departure. She then ran towards an SUV, where her mother was waiting. They both embraced, smiling widely at each other.
Later, in a TV interview, Hilton talked about her "unforgettable, miserable experience" in prison, and about how she began reading scriptures from the bible and found religion. "I've become grateful for everything I have", said Hilton, who appears to be done with her wild ways of the past.
Response to Hilton's revelation has been mixed - there are those who feel sympathy for her, and others who think her newfound attitude is just another one of her acts. Whether she's really changed or not, though, is something only Paris herself can prove to the world.
