Did you know that Ala Moana Shopping Center has a “grab-bag“ sale event?
You may have thought this was a Japanese custom but it’s been a popular New Years event at the Ala Moana Center here in Hawaii for many years. So what exactly is a “grab-bag”? Each store fills a bag with clothes, jewelry, etc. and sells it at a set price, which is usually half of what the items are worth. Some of the popular brands include, Burberry, Celine, Sephora, Neiman Marcus and more!
This event only takes place on January 1 so if you’re celebrating the New Year in Hawaii, come check it out! It starts at 10am so get there early!
