Superferry Cancellations
December 28, 2007
Hawaii Superferry service from Oahu to Maui has been cancelled today, due to high seas around the Pailolo Channel. This is the third cancellation in as many days. The channel between Maui and Molokai is notorious for strong waves and high wind. A recent storm has caused swells that reached 18 feet yesterday, with winds at 35 knots. December, typically, has the worst sea conditions.
