The Hawaii State legislature is considering a proposal to shift management of Aloha Stadium from the Stadium Authority to the University of Hawaii. It is hoped that such a move would help generate additional revenue for the athletic department. Proponents of the legislation envision an expansion of corporate sponsorship through the selling of sky-boxes and active UH participation.
