Super Bowl Upset
February 4, 2008
The New York Giants defeated the New England Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII in Arizona on Sunday. In what turned out to be a defensive battle, the Giants were able to hold the high-powered Patriots offense to just two touchdowns, the lowest scoring game for the team in 24 games. The Giants defense had to come out strong for them to have any chance of victory against the heavily favored Patriots.
