The island wide beach cleanup continued yesterday with work on Ulehawa beach park on the Nanakuli coast. Around one hundred squatters living in tents and make-shift shelters were evicted by the police earlier in the week. The city relocated about half of the people living on the beach to nearby homeless shelters. The others said that they simply plan to move to another park. As with other beach cleanups, the police plan to monitor the park over the coming weeks to make sure that people aren't moving back to the beach.
