Governor Linda Lingle met with residents at Kahuku High School last night to hear thoughts and reactions to her plan of having the state purchase Turtle Bay resort on the North Shore. The proposal came during her State of the State speech in January. The plan was to have the state purchase the 850 acre resort which includes five miles of pristine coastline, two golf courses and a multi-million dollar resort.
