The Office of Hawaiian Affairs land settlement was rejected last night by the state senate. The proposed agreement took four years of negotiation between the state and OHA and tried to resolve a 30-year-old dispute over rights to revenue from ceded lands which once belonged to the Kingdom of Hawai'i.
