JAMicorsoft Wins Format Battle

Microsoft has won international support for its Open Source document format. The format, known as Microsoft Office Open XML (OOXML) and designed for interchangeable web documents, was voted on by OpenSource group within the International Standard Organization (ISO). Twenty-four out of thirty-two countries voted in favor of the new format.
