Visitors To Hawaii Down
April 18, 2008
The number of visitors to Hawaii has fallen by 14% this month over last year. Tourist officials at the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (HVCB) attribute the drop to the failure of two airlines in the Island, Aloha Air and ATA Air. Before both airlines filed for bankruptcy and closed down, the passenger arrivals in Hawaii was up around 2% over the same time last year.
