A new survey by JD Power and Associates has ranked Honolulu Airport in 18th out of 21 medium-sized airports for customer satisfaction. Medium airports were defined by the survey as having between 10 million to 30 million passengers per year. This year, Honolulu Airport got a 3 rating out of a possible 5 in each of the six categories surveyed including airport accessibility, baggage claim, check-in/baggage check process, terminal facilities, security check, and food and retail services. The survey was based on responses from more than 21,165 passengers who took a round-trip flight between April 2007 and March 2008.
