Woman Pleads Innocent In MySpace Case

A woman accused of bullying a young girl and causing her to commit suicide has pleaded not guilty to charges in California today. Lori Drew, a 49 year-old neighbor, denied that she helped to create a fake MySpace account to woo and then reject a 13 year-old neighbor, Megan Meier. Drew pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy and accessing protected computers without authorization to get information used to inflict emotional distress. If convicted, she could face up to twenty years in prison.
