Oops! New iPhone Activation Glitch

In a situation that might bring a wry smile to Microsoft-PC users everywhere, consumers have reported having some minor glitches with activation of the new 3G iPhone from Apple. Many US buyers of the new phone left stores frustrated after hitting an activation "snag" at retailers. AT&T, the exclusive carrier for the iPhone in the United States, said there was a global problem with Apple's iTunes servers that prevented the phones from being fully activated in-store.
