State May Switch To 4-Day Week

Governor Linda Lingle has announced that state agencies are looking into a 4-day work week to combat record high fuel prices. Many cities across the US have gone to a shorter workweek to help public employees cope with higher gas costs. The governors office has said that ongoing talks have been conducted between the Department of Human Resources Development, the Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism and some union officials about the plan.
