Aloha Parade Saved
July 17, 2008
Officials for the annual Aloha Festival have announced that the parade was saved by last minute contributions from local businesses. Organizers say they have secured $50,000 in donations and will now have enough funds to hold the parade on September 13th. The parade, a fixture on Honolulu for over 60 years, runs from Ala Moana Beach Park to Kapiolani Park.
