A Texas couple has filed a suit against several parties in the death of their son in a traffic collision on Honoapiilani Highway on Maui last year. Susan Moulton and her husband, Kenneth Smith Jr., filed negligence charges against the other driver in the fatal accident, as well as General Motors, which manufactures the car Moulton was driving, Alamo Rent A Car, which rented the vehicle and the state of Hawaii, which owns the highway where the collision occurred.
