Grand Canyon Dam Breaks

Flood waters busted through Redland Dam this weekend sending a torrent of water through parts of Grand Canyon National Park. Cataract Canyon and Supai Canyon became inundated after heavy rains put tremendous structural strain on the dam and forced water over its banks. Nearly 170 campers, tourists and paddlers were evacuated by helicopter Sunday.
