Sales of single family homes fell by 33 percent last month, while the median price dipped by only 2 percent. A report by the Honolulu Board of Realtors showed that only 255 homes were sold in August, down from 381 a year ago. The number of condominiums sold last month was 345, a reduction of over 30 percent.
