Neighbor Island Doctor Shortage

The Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) has announced that it will donate over $100,000 to the John A. Burns School of Medicine at UH for medical students to train on the neighbor islands. The school hopes that the money will help alleviate the chronic shortage of doctors throughout the state.
