Wind:
The weather today will be a bit on the warmer side as trade winds fall of a bit this afternoon and into tomorrow. Expect some cool breezes to return on Sunday. Due to the light winds, there might be the chance of a few afternoon showers. Highs will be around 87 degrees, with the low falling to around 70 degrees. Chance of rain will be in the 20% to 30% range, mostly in the late afternoon and evening.
Waves:
Surf is up! And it's a bout time too! We here at Hawaiimode were getting just a little tired of the flat conditions that have clung to the state for the last few weeks. A high surf advisory will be in effect for South shores until Sunday. The south swell will continue to build to heights of 6 to 10 feet today. Surf along West shores will be in the 4 to 8 feet range. Expect surf on the North shore to be 3 to 5 feet and East shore to see 2 to 4 feet.
Whatevahs:
It's September and that means that UH Warrior Football is back again! This Saturday the Warriors will be hosting Weber State for the first home game at Aloha Stadium! The stadium opens around 2:00pm---kickoff is set for 6:05pm!
