Protesters Stop “Superferry”

August 26th, Sunday, the debut of Hawaii Superferry was put to hold due to hundreds of Hawaiian protesters blocking the ferry. Surfers blocked the ferry at Nawiliwili Harobr on Kaua’I for nearly two hours. Inside of the ferry, more than 2,200 passengers were on board with their $5 one-way special fares and 100 degrees of frustration.
