Longs drugstore plans to put walk-in medical clinics in two Island stores by the end of the year. The clinics will be run by Access Medical, a company started by a local doctor from Kaneohe. Each clinic will be staffed by physicians and nurse practitioners and will focus on basic treatment of minor problems, such as colds and allergies. Since it is a walk-in clinic, no appointment will be necessary.
