The Hawaii Superferry has announced that it will cancel service to Maui until March 2nd in order to make repairs to the ship. The Alakai, the only ship in the Superferry fleet thus far, experienced a rudder problem after traveling through high seas. Passengers who have booked a trip will be given the option of rescheduling or a refund on the ticket price.
