Group Wants Rail Vote

A new advocacy group, Stop Rail Now, wants to hold a vote on the future of rail in Honolulu. The group joins others calling for a public referendum on the proposed rail project. A City Council meeting last week highlighted the divisive nature of the issue when a vote choose future rail technology was postponed until this week due to a lack of consensus.
