Big Island Vog Hurts Farms

The chairman of a special legislative session devoted to the continuing vog menace suggested that Big Island farmers near Kilauea Volcano may have to be relocated in order to stay in business. Vog, a poisonous combination of dust and sulfur dioxide, has adversely effected farms and communities around Halemaumau crater since the volcano begin erupting back in March.
