International Market Place To Be Redone

The Queen Emma Land Company has announced plans to redevelop the 50-year-old International Market Place in Waikiki. The non-profit company, which runs the the Queen's Medical Center, is seeking ways to boost operating revenues for the hospital and expand access to health care. Redevelopment costs for the area are expected to be between $100 million to $150 million.
