Hilo Hattie announced Thursday the company will reorganize and file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. The new owners, who purchased the company back in July, say that the downturn in tourists and the higher costs precipitated the move. The filing of Chapter 11 will allow the company to continue to operate.
