Google announced an innovative new tool to help track flu outbreaks in the US. The service, called Google Health Trends, was created in partnership with the US Center For Disease Control and Prevention, and monitors keywords searches and located associated with the flu. The company hopes that the new service will help to quickly detect any new flu outbreaks.
