Oil Falls Below $50 A Barrel
November 20, 2008
Oil fell to below $50 a barrel this week, the last time since January 2007. Analysts say that the current dip is due to falling bond prices, the shaky financial sector and the weakening economy. Oil trading futures in the last few weeks have lost more than two-thirds of their value after hitting a record $145 a barrel in July.
