A high surf advisory is in effect for north and west facing shores. Wave heights are expected in the 12 foot range this afternoon and the western shores are expected to fall to 8 feet. High waves yesterday sent rescuers scrambling, and the crews are bracing for another big bump on Sunday. South shore looks like it could see some action, with a small swell coming in on Sunday as well.
