Mayor Spokesman Busted On DUI

Bill Brennen, spokesman for Mayor Mufi Hanneman, was arrested for driving under the influence late last night.
The mayor's office issued a statement saying that Brennen has informed the mayor of his arrest and that Mayor Hanneman took all issues of public safely concerning public servants must be taken seriously. The statement also said that Brennen has taken a leave of absence and will face disciplinary measures.
Brennan, 55, was arrested at the corner of Hunakai Street and Waialae Avenue just a few blocks from his home on Aukai Avenue in Kahala. His bail was set at $500.
