Easter Bunny@Ala Moana
As Easter approaches, the Hawaiian sun sets later and later in the day giving us the feeling that spring will soon be here. Store displays are also changing their designs to spring pastel colors giving their stores this light spring touch.
The main event of the Spring season is Easter, which is the celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection that is celebrated on a Sunday. Easter usually falls on a Sunday from March 22 to April 25. This year, Easter is on April 8.
Easter eggs are the sure sign that Easter has come. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be found at supermarkets everywhere. Eggs are historically a sign of life and fertility and are actually older than the Easter tradition itself. On Easter day, children run around, collect these hidden eggs, and collect them in an Easter basket and the winner is the one with the most eggs.
Easter eggs are believed to be laid from the Easter Bunny who will be making a guest appearance at Ala Moana Center. Children can take pictures with the Easter Bunny from March 24 – April 8 at Ala Moana Centerstage. Opens from 10 a.m. daily until Easter day and with the low price of $15.99 you can give all of your kids their own special Easter present. The Easter bunny is waiting for all the kids at Ala Moana Center. Don’t be late!
