The Wyland Waikiki is open!

When people hear marine art, Christian Lassen first comes to mind for most people. In Hawaii, a marine artist just as famous as him resides on the North Shore. His name is Wyland. Just like Lassen, he produces paintings and sculptures using things like whales and dolphins as the motif, and is flourishing around the world in places such as Japan, Canada, Australia, and France as a marine artist.
At this hotel, formerly known as the Ohana Waikiki Surf, they invested several millions of dollars, and this is the first hotel in the world to be remodeled all-out using Wyland’s art as a motif. The hotel management, Hilton Hotels Corporation, conducted this change of attitude into a Doubletree Hotel that uses “Casual & Stylish” as a motto.
In the hotel building as a whole, Wyland’s paintings and sculptures decorate it, and when you enter the hotel, there are sculptures of things like dolphins and turtles that welcome you in. In the lobby, there are multicolored tropical fish that fill up the air in this room. And in the guest rooms, the interior is put together with high class amenities such as a high-class bed called a “sweet dream bed”, plasma television, and something that you can’t live without in today’s modern society, a high-speed internet connection is also available. Of course for those guests who have children, rest assured there is a play room for them as well.
