Conquering Hanaumabay
April 12, 2007
Before sporting your new swim suit, renting snorkels, rubbing sun blocks, make sure you check the jellyfish warning. Jellyfish often come eight to ten days after the full moon and is a beach-lovers worst nightmare.
Guess what? You want to hear something that’ll make you “Ugh.” The city closed one of Hawaii’s finest beaches on April 4th after Hawaii’s "Baywatch" crew reported 20 to 30 box jellyfish on the beach in the morning.
So folks before getting on your ride, be sure to check the “jellyfish report” online.
