Have you heard of 'Iolani Palace? Located in downtown Honolulu, 'Iolani Palace was built in 1882 by King Kalakaua, the 7th king of the Hawaiian Monarchy. The palace served as the official residence of the Hawaiian royal family for 11 years, until the overthrow of the monarchy.
