Do you know where the films Jurassic Park and parts of Godzilla were shot? If you were to drive from Honolulu by car for about an hour, you will see a beautiful sight of Nature with deep green forests. This wild part of Oahu, called "Kualoa Ranch," is a great spot for sightseeing.

This beautiful place has lasted many generations; with protection of the natural environment, with 3 majestic mountains and 2 gorgeous valleys, this is a great place for tourists to enjoy the nature of Oahu. Kualoa Ranch is a very wide-open area measured at about 4,000 acres (16.2 square kilometers).

There are several activities that you can try here like, a traditional tour by horseback, scuttle your way around hills with ATV tours, jungle expeditions, movie site tours, etc. Personally, I recommend the horseback riding; it was a great experience seeing the beauty of Nature all around you like, the spectacular view of the Kanehoalani Mountains and even the Ka'a'a'wa Valley.

When you are shopping in Waikiki, you forget about the beauty that can be found around the island.
