Waikiki Street Performers
Once the sun sets on the islands, Waikiki becomes home to a decidedly different kind of people. They are the street performers, and you'll see them all over Waikiki after dark.
And the street performers are a diverse bunch, from a guy painted gold and silver from head to toe so he resembles a bronze statue, a tarot card fortuneteller, musicians, a masseuse, and even a really cool magician.
If you want to take a picture with them, all you have to do is put a small tip inside the tin can they have in front of them. Generally, tips range from $1-$3, though you can put in as much as you like. Once you give a tip, they'll be glad to take a picture with you.

The fortuneteller and masseuse usually have a signboard up, so you'll know how much their services are going to cost beforehand.
Waikiki after dark is truly a different experience than Waikiki during the day. Next time you're taking a walk through Waikiki at night, find the nearest street performer and enjoy the show!
