Distinguished regional cuisine from SANSEI.
Sansei, located in the Queen’s MarketPlace, serves up a distinctive menu that reflects the unique culture and tastes of Hawaii.Sansei is fast becoming famous in Hawaii and is one of the best known restaurants on the Big Island. After winning numerous awards, the menu just keeps getting better. The chefs at Sansei use only the finest ingredients to create beautiful Japanese dishes that are so stunning that they could easily be considered works of art.
Sansei strives to stay creative and the restaurant serves over 30 different kinds of unique sushi rolls. The Rainbow rolls, which are a combination of avocado, salmon and tuna, are always a favorite. If you would like to try an exclusively Hawaiian taste, try the Mango Crab Salad roll. It’s made with island mango, fresh crab, vegetables and peanuts, dipped in a sweet and spicy sauce. Delicious. This beautiful dish is a treat for the eyes as well. People just can’t seem to get enough of it.
One of the local favorites is the Mochiko Chicken. Juicy chicken covered with crunchy coating and dipped in their original sauce. Just throw one piece into your mouth and you’ll see what everyone is talking about! This simple dish is considered the ultimate chicken dish at the restaurant.
The restaurant also has a fine selection of wines that can perfectly compliment each dish.
Enjoy both the traditional and the contemporary at Sansei!

Enjoy authentic Japanese food at IMARI.
Imari, located in the heart of the HiltonWaikoloa Village, is the place to go to have a taste of time-honored Japanese dishes.Dine on such traditional favorites as Shabu Shabu, fresh Sushi and batter fried Tempra. The Shabu Shabu is so delicious and tender that it just melts in your mouth! Chef Inaba has studied cooking all over the world and makes some of the best Japanese food anywhere.
Other popular menu items include cold soba and fresh sashimi. If you go, we recommend the “Imari Menu A”. You can choose from either the fish of the day or Japanese style steak with ginger sauce. Both come with dessert!
They also have a number of exciting different kinds of sushi rolls to tempt you. You can enjoy either tried and true favorites or also unique creations such as American Sunset rolls and Spider rolls.
The restaurant itself overlooks a tranquil pond and the traditional style décor makes you feel like you’ve just stepped foot in Japan. Sunset in this gorgeous setting will take your breath away!

The restaurant SUSHI KAZU even counts
actual sushi chefs among its clientele!
Sushi Kazu is a place where you can enjoy an unpretentious Japanese izakaya-style atmosphere in Hawaii. The beautifully arranged sashimi platters prepared using fresh fish and seafood caught in the ocean near Kona are so popular you can expect a crowd every time you go. A large menu offering a wide array of dishes and preparation methods is the secret to the restaurant’s repeat customers. Besides your traditional favorites, you’ll also find original sushi rolls created by the owner.
I recommend the exquisitely prepared dishes using fresh lobster such as lobster tempura and lobster hotpot. Reasonable prices make it possible for everyone to enjoy the refined taste of lobster! Of course, you can’t go wrong with the fresh abalone, yellowtail, halibut, or the raw oysters!
Sushi Kazu is both popular among visitors and locals alike, as well as a favorite among connoisseurs, including actual sushi chefs. Open late, this is a great place to enjoy a relaxing evening in Hawaii with friends or family!
