A 1000-step hike
February 7, 2008
KOKO HEAD HIKING TRAIL is a local hiking course on Oahu popular among local exercise junkies.
Contrary to the moderate path up Diamond Head, this hiking course is made up of over 1000 steps to the top of the hill, on a very steep path.
What’s more the red soil along the path is often slippery and there’s more than a few tricky steps to climb over. For these reasons, the Koko Head hiking trail is not recommended for children or people who suffer from fear of heights.
Nevertheless, I highly recommend this hiking spot to those with confidence in their physical strength.
