Art Gallery in UH
Did you know that there is an art gellery on UH campus? The exibitiion theme changes every few months but the theme for April 13th to June 11th is contemporary art from Pakistan called "Unseen Vision".
Pakistan, the oldest civilization in the wolrd, is a diverse country. Plagued by Islamic extremism today, the perception is often of a voilent and backward country. In an effort to change this image, the gallery collected the work of 12 contemporary artists trying to tell the reality of modern life in Pakistan.
The gallery hours are 8:00-17:00 on weekdays, 12:00-16:00 on Sundays, closed on Saturdays. The #6 bus will take you right in front of the gallery on the UH campus.
