Oneula Beach Park is a secret hang out surrounding the beautiful blue water beach at Ewa Beach. Aside from the gorgeous beach, the location also boasts a shopping center and little town. This beach has such a private feel that most locals don’t even know about it.

Presently, the sand at Oneula is a beautiful shade of white though the actual meaning of the word “Oneula” is “red sand”. That’s because the beach used to be used as a sugar cane field and was surroundced by red earth. Stories say that that the red earth mixed in with the white sand to create the illusion of red sand in the past.

But that is all in the past! The crystal-clear blue water and white sand you’ll find now is truly spectacular. You’ll be surprised by how different it looks from Waikiki! What’s more, since there’s almost no one around you’ll get a taste of what life on a secluded island would feel like!
