One of the ghost stories popular in Hawaii between the locals is the "Night Marchers". As you can already tell by the name, this story is about the spirits, the ghosts of the Hawaiian ancestors marching in the middle of the night.

Hawaii has a lot of ghost stories since there are a lot of historical events happened here, but the Night Marchers is probably the most famous one. What the locals say is that the Night Marchers appear at night of the 27th of the lunar calendar. Usually from around 7PM after the sun sets, and until around 2AM.

The story says that if you ever see the march, you will die right away but there are some things that you can prevent from it! Lie down naked without clothes on the ground and just wait until the march goes away. A lot of people witnessed the march in downtown, so you might want to avoid walking in downtown at night...
