Is this Japan?
No it’s Yokohama Bay, on the West side of Oahu! This beach was named Yokohama Bay because it used to be a favorite among Japanese immigrants in Hawaii, who came originally from Yokohama. This white-sand beach and clear blue ocean makes this haven resemble a private beach.
Yokohama Bay is located at the far West, right before Kaena Point, and can be a alittle hard to find. But then again, that’s what keeps it always quiet and relaxing, making it completely different from Waikiki
What’s more, at night there are virtually no lights around, so the night sky looks beautiful with stars sparkling brightly. No wonder it’s a favorite date spot among local couples!
Of course, since it does get quite dark, a trip alone, or in a group of women only, is not recommended.

End of H1, then keep going West.
