Go! is a new inter-island airline that started operation on June 9th, with flights between Honolulu and Kona, Lihue, and Kahului. Flights have also been operating between Honolulu and Hilo since June 30th. The concept behind this new airline focuses on “cheap inter-island prices”, so you can expect more than reasonable fares.

Competitors of the new airline, Hawaiian Airline, Aloha Airline, and Island Air, have all reduced their fares as well to fight the competition. Just last week, I went to Kauai for just 39$ one-way! Depending on the departure date, I even heard tickets were being offered for just 16$ one-way!
　
Go! is a new addition to the Mesa Air Group on the Mainland. This company won the Regional Airline of the Year award in 2005. Seems like we’ll all be getting a chance to go to Kauai or Maui now!
